About Event Waiter
Event Waiter has a portfolio which includes everything from intimate house parties to high-end weddings and everything in between.Event Waiter enjoys close relationships with all our clients to ensure specific service needs are met. We do not employ Admin or HR assistants to handle bookings, instead preferring to speak with clients personally, which allows for decisions to be made at time of enquiry that ensure a completely bespoke service.

Event Waiter was founded and is managed by Kevin Walsh.Kevin is a hands-on operator skilled in silver service, corporate dining and staff training and development. Having been involved in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, he has gained a vast and varied amount of experience, and his career has taken him to many locations, from private houses to restaurants and prestigious venues.
During his time in corporate hospitality and a la carte dining, Kevin noticed a distinct lack of skilled temporary labour in the market. He decided to do something about this, setting up Event Waiter in 2012.
Davina began her career in the hospitality industry, working for over ten years in some of Ireland’s top sporting and entertainment venues. Following on from this, she gained valuable administration, sales/quoting and customer service experience in various roles.
Davina brings a wealth of administrative talent, as well as a keen knowledge of hospitality, to her role as Office Manager at Event Waiter.
Originally from Croatia, Kreso gained a wealth of hospitality experience working in restaurants from an early age, both back- and front-of-house. He has also managed busy restaurants in the bustling summer resort of Poreč. Since moving to Ireland, Kreso has worked in some of Leinster’s busiest hospitality locations, including The K Club, Brown Bear, Le Pain Quotidien and L’Officina by Dunne & Crescenzi.
His time spent in restaurant management has given him great attention to detail and people management skills. Kreso works closely with the HR Manager and Bookings & Rostering Planner for the company, ensuring we have the perfect people for each event.
Catherine has a background in outdoor catering, working in some of the country’s most prestigious venues and sporting locations.
She has also worked for many years in the bar trade, so she brings a wealth of hospitality experience to Event Waiter.
Catherine is also a qualified food safety instructor and provides food safety training to all our staff.
Bookings & Rostering Coordinator
Aga moved to Ireland from Poland in 2004 and has several years of experience in hospitality and food production.
She has a degree in Business from UCD and acts as the bookings and rostering coordinator for the company, handling booking enquiries and all staff rostering.
Aga is also a qualified manual handling instructor and provides manual handling training to all our staff.
