About Event Waiter
Event Waiter has a portfolio which includes everything from intimate house parties to high-end weddings and everything in between.Event Waiter enjoys close relationships with all our clients to ensure specific service needs are met. We do not employ Admin or HR assistants to handle bookings, instead preferring to speak with clients personally, which allows for decisions to be made at time of enquiry that ensure a completely bespoke service.

Event Waiter was founded and is managed by Kevin Walsh.Kevin is a hands-on operator skilled in silver service, corporate dining and staff training and development. Having been involved in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, he has gained a vast and varied amount of experience, and his career has taken him to many locations, from private houses to restaurants and prestigious venues.
During his time in corporate hospitality and a la carte dining, Kevin noticed a distinct lack of skilled temporary labour in the market. He decided to do something about this, setting up Event Waiter in 2012.
Pat Timlin has worked in the hospitality industry for the past twelve years, and also has a background in event management. Initially working in the catering industry, he gained experience both front-of-house and in hospitality administration, also serving a period as Operations Manager for conference and banqueting at Croke Park Stadium.
Pat also spent several years in restaurant management, and brings with him the attention to detail that he cultivated in A La Carte service.
Davina began her career in the hospitality industry, working for over ten years in some of Ireland’s top sporting and entertainment venues. Following on from this, she gained valuable administration, HR and customer service experience in various roles.
Davina brings a wealth of administrative and financial talent, as well as a keen knowledge of hospitality, to her role as Office Manager at Event Waiter. Her strength in HR will also enable us to continue enhancing our team.
